Every 1-2 years for the past 10 years I have captured the Damon’s in some form or another. Whether it was a photobooth set-up at their engagement party, to maternity, newborn & family photos - i’ve been there to capture it for them. That is 8 sessions. I am forever greatful for their loyalty & trust in their memories.

Even though she admits every session she feels a little awkward - Amanda LOVES photos & is really nostalgic, so she understands the value in these sessions & leans in.

I love walking into her home & seeing frames from our sessions all over the walls!

One of her favourite sessions when she was early pregnant with Lainie was a sunrise session at their local beach & so we chatted about making that happen again with the everyone now her family was whole.

And even though I know Amanda quite well, I always send through a questionnaire to see where you are currently in this season & what is the most important to you about the session.

So I will leave you with Amanda’s wishes for her family to remember about their lives right now:

We hope to remember and hold onto their outlook on life. Everything is light and full of wonder and fun. They make us stop and look at the little things. Instead of looking at the bigger picture, sometimes you just need to stop and zoom in on the blade of grass, ant or shell. I also love their love. It's so fierce and pure and we really are their MOST favourite people.
