Bringing home Harry

Capturing families as they settle into their new everyday rhythm with two babes is pretty damn special.

Not only are you just landing into your body again after birth, but you are back navigating the fourth trimester - and if it wasn’t that long ago since your first babe, you never really ventured out of it.

I don’t run a session by a formula like I would have in the past as I know that isn’t necessarily the vibe of your family. So understanding & knowing what it’s like those early days at home personally, helps the flow of the session be at ease & totally baby/toddler led.

Because cows at a session are always a good idea 😆

What I do take into account is the rooms that you spend the most time in together, where the light is & finding out what is important to you. Because this is your session. If toddlers need a snack or baby needs a feed, or if nana is here helping out- let’s capture that because.. that is real life.

Making sure connection is the main hero in your images along with all the tiny details of the newest member of your family.

When asking Emma what she wanted to remember most about this time in her families life she replied with…

That it was challenging but made us love and appreciate each other so much more.

I’m so grateful & honoured to capture such a transitional time for them all & know that these memories will be with them forever.
